Whether it's roof measurements, solar planning, or facade surveying: with Airteam, you don't pay for individual software modules or fixed project packages, but with a single, flexible currency – Credits. In this article, we explain how the system works, what each flat rate specifically offers, and how you can find out in two minutes which one best fits your business.

1. What are Airteam Credits?

Every Airteam flat rate – from Base Fusion to Ultra Fusion – includes a monthly credit allowance. You use these credits to pay for everything you need for your project:

• Your 3D model – the foundation of every survey
• Additional planning data – e.g., survey reports, solar data, or facade data
• Larger buildingsthat exceed the standard size of your flat rate

Simply put: 1 building = 1 project = credits as needed. No guesswork, no hidden extra costs – you see exactly what you are paying for.

📅 Your credit allowance is available to you for the entire duration of your contract – meaning for the entire year or two years with annual and biennial contracts, not just month by month. If you have more projects in one month and fewer in the next, it balances out automatically over the contract term. This makes annual and biennial contracts not only more cost-effective but also more flexible to use.

2. Why a unified credit system?

Previously (before August 2026), we distinguished between a fixed model quota (how many 3D models you could measure per month) and separate credits for additional services. This led to questions: When do I need a quota, and when do I need a credit?

That is why we are now consistently using a single, easy-to-understand unit: the credit. This offers you three advantages:

• Simpler: One system instead of two parallel counting methods.
• Fairer: You pay for what your project actually needs – not for a rigid package that doesn't fit your business.
• More flexible: You can use your credits freely, whether for an additional building or for more complex planning data.

3. How many credits do you need?

As a rule of thumb: One building = one project = one credit per planning file.

The credit cost for planning data depends on two things: how complex the data is for us to create – and, above all, how much time and work it saves you.

• A simple solar planning file with rough roof geometry costs you comparatively few credits. You could, if necessary, click such a geometry together yourself in your PV planning software – the time saved is there, but manageable.
• A detailed CAD file or a survey report with facade data costs more credits. Not only because it involves more effort, precision, and verification on our part, but primarily because it saves you hours of actual work in drawing or measuring by hand.

In short: The more time a planning file saves you, the more value it provides – and that is exactly what is reflected in the credit price. You are therefore not primarily paying for our production effort, but for the value it provides to you.

6. Need more? How upgrades work

Sometimes your monthly quota isn't enough, or you might need an additional feature. We have a simple solution for that, too:

• Extra Credits: If your quota isn't enough for the month, you can easily purchase additional credits as needed.
• Feature upgrades: You can add individual features—such as solar planning, additional users, or a speed boost for faster project processing—independently of your flat rate whenever you need them.

This way, you only pay for what you actually use and can adjust your package to match your growth at any time.
